Time management seems like a simple concept. You just designate a specific amount of time each day for working on your project. Well, this is were most people go wrong!
How many times have you started working on a project during your designated working time and become side tracked. Don't deny it; this happens to even the most dedicated internet marketers.
You start working and the next thing you know you are surfing the web. It may seem like you are working because you are reading up on your project or related topics. But the next thing you know, you have spent all of your designated working time surfing and have not really gotten any quality work done.
This used to happen to me all the time. I could spend a whole day surfing around, coming up with new ideas for making profits. But at the end of the day what meaningful work has really gotten done? None.
The answer to this problem is to be specific in you time management and absolutely stick to the plan. If you need time to read up on your project, designate 30 minutes to doing so. But once 30 minutes is up, you must move on to the next thing on your list.
Whether you have 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours or more, you must be specific and stick to your schedule.
When running though my schedule during the day, I make sure to switch my activity exactly at the time I have specified.

One thing I will do if I am working on something that does not require the Internet, such as writing this email, is disconnecting my computer from the Internet. I sometimes even break out some old fashion tools, pen and paper. Doing this keeps me focused on the task at hand at keeps me from the temptation to surf the Internet.
I really hope you got the idea of "Time Management", this is super important if you want to become a success online.
